Kular Lumpur, Malaysia - CT Motorsport attended the offical start of the Asia Formula V6 2006 season by attending the introduction program presented by Renault and Motorsport Asia at the Sepang International Circuit on April 22 through April 24.

The program consisted of one half day of classroom training for team managers, engineers, mechanics and drivers, followed by a day of hands on training with the cars and finally a full day of open testing.

CT Motorsport announced a driver change while at the Sepang International Circuit.  Seth Ingham is replacing the previously announced driver Tim Barber.  Barber had previous commitments in a US based series that were in conflict with the Asia Formula V6 series.  Ingham is the current Formula TR 2000 series champion with 13 poles, 11 wins and 5 track records in 2005.  He joins Ken Lee of Seoul, Korea who has also competed in both Formula Renault 1600 and 2000 in the Formula TR series as well as Formula BMW.

Monday, April 24 was an open test day for the Asia Formula V6 teams.  The cars were provided to the team on Friday for the first time, the CT Motorsport team worked diligently on the cars during the Sunday hands-on training session to provide the team drivers with the maximum time in the cars for familiarization.  The preparation paid off with the team cars being the first to circulate the Sepang circuit when opened for testing and they had exclusive use of the circuit for two hours as the other teams were not ready.

At the end of the day, Seth Ingham had the second or third fastest time of the day; Ken Lee became familiar with the truly high performance capability of the cars while learning the Sepang International Circuit; finally, the team had gained a very valuable introduction to these very quick cars and gained some insights which should be of great help when they return to the Sepang International Circuit on May 13 and 14 for the first round of the 2006 Asia Formula V6 Championship.
